When you eat at the Saguaro Food Truck Academy, you're not just grabbing a bite – you're supporting dreams in action through one of our Workforce Development initiatives!
This food truck is Sahuarita Food Bank’s mobile classroom where aspiring entrepreneurs learn the ropes of the food business. Every delicious meal you enjoy helps fuel someone's journey to success! Our talented student chefs are cooking up amazing food while building the skills and savings they need to launch their own food truck empires.
So dig in and feel good about it – your lunch is helping create the next generation of local food entrepreneurs. Plus, you get to discover exciting new flavors as our rotating team of future food truck owners showcase their signature dishes!
Our aim is quality outcomes, not quantity of outputs. Through this program, we hope to get 2-4 new businesses in the community per year.
